Manon was always interested in the care and presentation of the body and made it a part of her life from the beginning. Through school in Montreal, a career in the Air force and subsequent jobs in marketing, Manon always tried to be and look her best. Friends saw this and sought her advice on exercise, skin care, makeup and clothes. In time she recognized what was obvious to everyone else and jumped at an opportunity to be trained as an esthetician. On graduation she worked in various spas but always knew that she would eventually bring her own style to the business. Manon also recognized the many facets of the profession and went on to acquire specialty qualifications in Laser/IPL and electrolysis hair removal, microdermabrasion, airbrush makeup and most recently, teeth whitening by Canada White Smile. Thus equipped with the skills to match her passion she opened Salon Manon in April 2007 where Manon is “Taking Time To Care” for her clients. Set in the theme of an intimate Montreal park, Salon Manon is located above Maison Paul Coiffure at 520 Princess St. in Kingston, Ontario www.explorekingston.com. Paul is noted for his cutting edge hair and colour treatments so this arrangement allows clients to receive the full range of hair and esthetic services in one location and in either English or French.
