Enjoy the luxury of having smooth legs, bikini line and under arms everyday, in the conquest for hair-freedom. Whether it’s for a big event or just your day to day life, laser hair removal can benefit all.

Laser hair removal is the answer to all the other methods. The comfort level is high - no pain at all, and it's fast because you treat a whole area at a time, not individual hairs. The accuracy is high - you target only the places you want the hair removed from and it is very effective.

Traditional methods such as waxing and electrolysis are time consuming, offer short-term results and may scar the skin. We are pleased to offer the most recent advanced laser technology for anyone desiring a comfortable, effective way to remove unwanted hair.

The Laser we use at our clinic represents the latest generation in Laser hair removal technology featuring Thermokinetic Selectivityâ„¢ (TKSâ„¢) which is the safest technology for all types of skin colors and is used on an actively-cooled hand piece.

Laser hair removal with TKSâ„¢ is a thoroughly tested, FDA approved, clinically-proven method of hair removal. TKSâ„¢ eliminates hair follicles and impairs further hair growth. Treatment is relatively quick, and removes unwanted body hair without damaging the surrounding skin. TKSâ„¢ laser hair removal is a safer , more effective process than other methods.

IMPORTANT: What is important for you to know is the choice of Laser depends on your individual skin and hair type. We will select the machine best for your individual requirement. Our doctors are amongst the best in Toronto which means you are in safe hands and will get the most natural looking results.

We offer complimentary consultations. Give us a call today to schedule an appointment.

Laser Hair Removal for Women and Men
Easy, Safe, Effective And Fast

How does Laser Hair Removal Work?

The laser emits a gentle beam of light that passes through the skin, to the hair follicle, where it is absorbed. Upon absorption, the laser energy is transformed into heat, which disables the follicle.
What does TKSâ„¢ mean?

TKSâ„¢ stands for Thermokinetic Selectivityâ„¢. TKSâ„¢ technology makes it possible for the laser energy to "selectively heat" just the hair follicle and not the surrounding skin. This is important because it helps to protect the skin, while effectively treating the unwanted hair. This is why the TKSâ„¢ offers safer and more effective treatment than other lasers.
Is It Safe?

By using the principle of Thermokinetic Selectivityâ„¢, the laser "parameters" (guidelines for the effective use of the laser during treatment) were chosen to match the pulse width to the size and location of the hair follicle. The result is a safer, faster and more effective way to eliminate unwanted hair.
Are Laser hair Removal treatments dangerous?

No, they are not. Not in the doses emitted by those machines. It should still be supervised by someone who knows what he's doing, a licensed professional.
How do I know if I'm a good candidate for laser hair removal?

Generally speaking, if you are concerned about unwanted hair, you are probably a candidate for laser hair removal. The most dramatic results will occur for those with light skin and dark hair. But this is another area in which TKSâ„¢ has also made a difference. TKSâ„¢ now makes it possible for patients who may have not previously benefited from laser therapy - those with lighter hair and darker skin - to receive greater benefits from the procedure.
Is the treatment painful?

Most patients describe the treatment as a series of slight pin pricks or rubber band snaps to the skin. The majority of patients tolerate this sensation without anesthetics. Within about 30 minutes of treatment, the area may become pink or red; this may last from a few hours to one day.
How long does it take?

Each laser pulse treats about a half inch area, which can contain ten or more hairs. The amount of time needed depends on the size of the area to be treated. The lip usually takes less than one minute; other areas, such as the leg, may take significantly longer.
How many treatments will be necessary?

Hair grows in cycles. The laser only affects hair when it is in its early growth phase. In fact, the laser will disable follicles that are actively producing hair at the time of treatment. At any time, some hair follicles are dormant. Repeated sessions will be necessary to treat these follicles when they re-enter the growth phase.
Is it effective?

Yes, the technology is backed by worldwide clinical research studies with proven results.
The most effective results have been achieved on fair skin and darker hair. However, black and darker skins can also be treated with our advanced laser.
What parts of the body can be treated?

Laser can treat all external areas of the face and body from the legs, arms, back, shoulders, stomach, underarms, the upper lip and the bikini area.
What are the results from Laser Hair Removal?

We recommend to start with as little as 3 to 4 treatment. However, most people need at least 6 to 8 sessions for best effect. The damaged hairs are shed gradually in the two weeks after treatment.
What Laser Hair Removal can’t do?

Lasers are targeted at pigmented tissue, so they are not as effective on white, grey or platinum blonde hair.
How many treatments are needed?

Laser only destroys hairs when they are in the growth phase. At any one moment 20% of hair is resting or dormant. Repeated sessions will treat these hairs when they re-enter the growth phase.
This depends on many factors including your skin and hair type, ethnic background, hormonal balance and skin sensitivity. It is not possible to categorically state how many treatments an individual will need, however this will be discussed at your consultation.
What is the cost of Laser Hair Removal?

The cost of a course of treatments depends on the size of the area and the number of treatments your body needs to get the desired result. Please call us to book a complimentary consultation to get started.
